How it works
Arena gives you all the season-long rivalry of Classic Mode, minus the transfer market. Instead of managing a squad over time, you get a fresh budget every matchday to build your lineup from the entire player pool. Best lineup each week wins.
Creating your league
Open the League tab
New here? Tap "Create League." Already in a league? Tap your league name → "+ Add League" → "+ Create New League"
Select your competition — MLS, Bundesliga, or LaLiga are available in the US
Choose Arena Mode
Pick Default or Custom setup
Default setup
Balanced settings to jump in fast — Season Points scoring, 11-player lineup, standard budget.
Custom setup
Ranking Mode — Season Points (all matchday points are added up) or Head to Head (weekly matchups: win = 3, draw = 1, loss = 0)
Matchdays Counted — 5 Best Matchdays (only your top 5 scores count) or All Matchdays (every matchday counts cumulatively)
Lineup — 6 or 11 players
Budget — for a 6-player lineup: $100M, $150M, or $200M. For an 11-player lineup: $150M, $250M, or $350M. This is your budget to pick your lineup from the full player pool each matchday — there's no transfer market and nothing carries over between weeks.
Player Limit per Club — cap how many players from the same club you can field, or leave unlimited
Captain — on by default (see below)
Captain Feature
Your selected captain scores double points. The multiplier is applied only in the final scoring calculation, not in the player's live profile during the matchday.
Double matchdays: points from both matches are added together first, then doubled — effectively 4x your captain's combined points.
Negative points: also doubled. A -4 becomes -8 in the final calculation.
How to assign: In the Lineup section, tap Fill to auto-complete your lineup including a Captain. Or go manual — tap the + icon, then tap the small "C" next to the player you want as Captain.
Manager limits
Head to Head is capped at 18 managers. Season Points (League format) has no manager limit.

Tip
Most managers start with a private league among friends — it's the easiest way to jump into Arena together.
