The Captain`s feature is currently only available for MLS. Your selected captain scores double points. The multiplier is applied only in the final scoring calculation, not in the player’s live profile during the gameday.
How are double game days handled?
Points from multiple matches are added together as usual. If your captain plays a double game day, the total points from both matches are then doubled. This effectively results in four times the points.
What about negative points? Negative points are also doubled for captains. For example, minus four points would count as minus eight in the final calculation.
How to assign the captain? Open the app, tap on Seasonal, and select your league. Once you’re in the Lineup section with the green background, you can tap Fill to have your lineup completed automatically- including the Captain.
If you’d rather choose players manually, tap the + icon and select Add to lineup next to the player you want. Right next to that option, you’ll see a small C icon. Tap the C next to your selected player to assign them as captain.
