Starting lineup probabilities show how likely a player is to be in the official starting lineup for the upcoming gameweek. They help you decide which players to put in your lineup, especially if you are new to Kickbase or MLS.
You can see these probabilities directly in the app, for example in your squad and in the lineup view. They give you a quick idea of which players are expected to start and which ones might be on the bench. This is a feature exclusive for all Kickbase managers with a member subscribtion.
How do starting lineup probabilities work?
The probabilities are based on multiple factors, such as recent matches, team news, injuries, suspensions, and expected coach decisions. They are Kickbase estimates and not a guaranteed starting lineup.
A high probability means the player is very likely to start. A low probability means the player might not be in the starting eleven or could miss the match entirely.
Important to know
Starting lineup probabilities are meant as guidance. Coaches can always make last minute decisions, so a player with a high probability can still end up on the bench.
If a player does not start and does not come on as a substitute, they will not score any points for that gameday.
